The design is automatically centered in the hoop when it is opened. When Customizer 11000 is in Hoop Mode, you are looking at the how the design is positioned in the hoop. 4 colors (called Layers on the information bar).(Please refer to Lesson #1 Opening an Existing Design.) Open the design Pansy1 in the Flowers folder. Let's open a design to see what shows on the information bar when you have a design on the screen. The information bar tells us which mode we are in, the hoop shown on the screen, number of stitches in the design on the screen, number of colors in the design on the screen, the magnification level, and the thread brand chosen. There is an information bar on the bottom of the screen which provides facts about the screen. The screen will only show the sewing area perimeter. If you prefer to not view the centerlines, click View, Centerline, White Lineto change the lines from black to white. Note: the hoop representation is shown with centerlines, which divides the sewing area into four quadrants. Whenever you see a representation of a hoop, you are in Hoop Mode. It is the same representation of the sewing area as you see on the plastic grid that comes with the hoop. The box is a representation of the sewing area of the ST hoop, which is the default hoop. When Customizer 11000 first opens, you see a screen with a box on it.
